Cool FM Launches Spin-Off For Belfast Marathon
Cool FM is launching an online radio service for anyone taking part in this year’s Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon.
“Cool Workout” will be running in conjunction with the event and is the first spinoff station to be launched by Cool FM in its 30-year history.
David Tighe, Managing Director of Bauer Media/Cool FM said: “Our pop-up station brings a new dimension to our partnership with Belfast City Marathon, offering the soundtrack to a healthy training regime.
“We’re delighted to provide easy access to the music and tips which will help the people of Northern Ireland keep fit, active and motivated on the final stage of their marathon journey.”
Absolute Radio Live Returns to The London Palladium
Frank Skinner will return to the London Palladium this November to host the next Absolute Radio Live.
The comedy night will feature Dara Ó Briain, Joe Lycett, Judi Love, Angela Barnes, Phil Wang and Glenn Moore and raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust.
Frank said “I can’t wait to get back on the stage at the London Palladium and host this brilliant live event. After the last year we could all do with a good laugh, and what better way to do it then whilst raising money for a very important cause.”
Jane Ashton, Head of Music and Entertainment at Teenage Cancer Trust, added “We’re so grateful to our friends at Absolute and to Frank for supporting Teenage Cancer Trust with this very special event. After losing two years of Teenage Cancer Trust gigs at the Royal Albert Hall due to the pandemic we’ve missed live shows so much, and it’s just great to see them returning and be a part of this.
